Core Making

We manufacture all the sand cores used in our gravity and low-pressure casting processes in-house. The adoption of an innovative inorganic core process directly addresses the need to minimize environmental impact. Mazzucconi is among the first independent foundries capable of offering this sustainable technology on a large scale, delivering superior quality components to our clients.

Foundry

In our Mazzucconi foundries, we employ different casting technologies:
- Low-pressure die casting
- Gravity die casting
- High-pressure die casting


All casting tools and machines are designed and engineered internally by a specialized team of technicians, ensuring total control over performance and quality.

Finishing and Heat Treatment

At Mazzucconi, finishing operations follow strict, automated standards: core removal, gating cutting, and deburring are performed with automated precision. Non-destructive testing (X-ray and penetrant inspections) certify component integrity, while heat treatment ensures the required mechanical properties.

Machining and assembly

From raw casting to the finished component, high-precision CNC machining defines final geometries. Mazzucconi also performs in-house assembly for complex components, ensuring end-to-end quality and process control across the production line.
